MENIFEE (CBS) — A man was found dead inside a burning recreational vehicle in Menifee, county fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 6:15 p.m. inside an RV storage facility located at 25260 Antelope Road, said Cheri Patterson of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Upon their arrival, rescuers reported the 20-foot travel trailer was engulfed in flames.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire, and upon a secondary search of the trailer located the body of an adult male,” Patterson said in a statement.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, she said.
