Famous Swimsuit Model, Former Penthouse Pet Accused Of Running Global Drug Ring

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — An Australian swimsuit model and former Penthouse Pet is now getting public attention for all the wrong reasons.

Simmone Farrow has been accused of trafficking meth across the world and using her posh West Hollywood apartment as her base to distribute.

"She was really down to earth," said a front desk guard at the apartment building.

Dylan Howard, editor in chief of CelebBuzz.com, said the woman with 19 aliases first came to the attention of Australian authorities in 2009 when packages of bath salts and clothing appeared suspicious.

Authorities said they soon found the drug packed n pants, every day mail boxes and Fed Ex envelopes.

Farrow was arrested in her native Australia but posted bail and fled to The United States. The alleged dealer then was reportedly on the run in Australia, where she failed to show up at a hearing last month. The former Ed Hardy model sent a fake letter to the court from a doctor saying she was hospitalized.

Last week, investigators on the east coast of the country traced Farrow to a seedy motel.

Upon her capture, Farrow said she was not running from authorities but rather fleeing because she believed she was a murder target.

Ed Hardy told CBS2 they had no comment on the arrest. They would only say that Farrow hadn't worked for them since 2006 and, despite all the photos online, only did "a few campaigns" for them.
