LOS ANGELES (CBS) – The voice of the Dodgers Vin Scully will trim his schedule even more for the 2012 season by eliminating games in Colorado and an interleague series in Seattle, the team announced Saturday.
Scully, who is entering his 63rd season with the Dodgers, will only call games in Arizona and California.
In years past, Scully was limited calling road games within the National League West and American League West.
Scully will make his 2012 debut on Saturday night in Cactus League game between Dodgers and Giants.
The Dodgers say Scully’s nearly 62 years of service is the longest tenure of any broadcaster in sports history.
