5-Week-Old Baby Girl Dies Inside San Jacinto Home

SAN JACINTO (CBS) — Authorities have found a 5-week-okd girl dead inside a San Jacinto home, according to a sheriff's department spokesman.

Paramedics and sheriff's deputies arrived at the residence in the 1400 block of Cottonwood Avenue at about 6:45 a.m. today after the parents called to say their child was unresponsive, the spokesman said.

The infant was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

Sheriff's investigators and members of the county coroner's office later arrived to investigate the death and an autopsy was scheduled, the spokesman said.
