Rockets Expected To Buy Out Fisher's Contract

HOUSTON (CBS) - According to NBA.com, the Houston Rockets plan to buy out the contract of Derek Fisher, making him a free agent.

Fisher was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday along with a first round draft pick to the Houston Rockets for Jordan Hill.

Houston GM Daryl Morey did not comment on Fisher's future with the Rockets.

Even though Fisher would be a free agent, he could not return to the Lakers this season, due to the new CBA agreement.
