Bargains Galore! Largest Children’s Consignment Sale Hits Burbank

BURBANK (CBS) — The largest kids’ consignment sale in Southern California will be taking Burbank by storm this week.

The LA Kids Consignment sale is filled with 600 family consignors and over 80,000 brand name, high-quality items, including clothes, bikes, books, furniture and even maternity clothing.

Prices range from $1.50 for girls shoes to $60 for strollers.

“We go from newborn through juniors. You can stock up on everything you need for you kids for the summer. We’ve got sundresses, shorts, swimwear, and these are amazing bargain,” said Kristine Nelson, who started the sale eight years ago in her driveway.

All unsold items will be donated to local charities, including the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Mend Poverty, Pregnancy Resource Center, Family Promise of East San Fernando Valley, American Cancer Society, and Beyond Shelter.

Similar sales in Valencia, Pasadena and the Westside have been scheduled for April, May and June respectively.

Pre-sale for consignors and volunteers begins Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Friday-March 16, 2012: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
• Saturday-March 17, 2012: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
• Sunday- March 18, 2012: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
