STUDIO CITY (CBS) — A pair of 11-year-old twin girls were hospitalized Wednesday after they were struck by a car in Studio City.

The girls were hit by a car at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Moorpark Street at around 1:34 p.m, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Several drivers were seen outside their vehicles assisting the victim, according to one eyewitness.

One of the girls was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The other remains in serious condition.

Traffic officials said the crash was not suspected as a hit-and-run, but no other details were immediately available.
