LAWNDALE (CBS) — Authorities Sunday were investigating a stabbing death in Lawndale.

A statement issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the victim, identified as a Hispanic male, was found in the 15100 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

The incident occurred about 10:55 p.m. Saturday.

According to authorities, the man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
