Los Angeles County Court System To Eliminate 300 Jobs In June
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Taking care of legal matters in Los Angeles County could soon take a lot longer.
Court administrators plan to eliminate more than 300 jobs at the end of June to save $300 million over several years.
The court system has already lost 10 percent of its workforce to layoffs and attrition over the past two years.
Courtrooms will be restructured, which officials say will affect every judicial officer and staff member.
