Naked Man Arrested Outside Walmart Claims Clothes Were Stolen

HESPERIA (CBS) — A Hesperia man was behind bars Tuesday after a sheriff's deputy discovered him hiding naked in the bushes near a Walmart store.

Authorities say a male resident living near the 15200 block of Bear Valley Road called 911 around 4:30 a.m. to report a nude man running across his yard.

The caller told authorities he spotted the suspect running across the road toward a Walmart store.

Alejandro Aguirre, 34, was located by a deputy and placed under arrest.

The Victorville Daily Press reports Aguirre was already on probation for indecent exposure.

Sue Rose, a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia station told the Press, "He claimed someone robbed him of his clothes and he was going to go to a friend's house."

The Press cites court records indicating three cases pending against Aguirre for parole violations. He was reportedly arrested in July 2011 for indecent exposure with a prior indecent exposure arrest.
