Man Suspected In His Wife's Murder At Montebello Retirement Home
MONTEBELLO (CBS) — Authorities are launching a murder investigation after a 63-year-old woman was found dead at a Montebello retirement home.
The victim's 72-year-old husband, who has been hospitalized with stab wounds, now faces murder charges.
Investigators say the couple was married for 44 years. Deputies were alerted by family members, who found the couple in their apartment at the Montebello Senior Villas Monday afternoon.
The woman had apparently been strangled.
Investigators say evidence points to a domestic violence murder at the hand of her husband.
