Armed Woman Taken Into Custody After Keeping Police At Bay More Than 6 Hours
DEL REY (CBS) — A woman believed to be armed held police at bay for more than six hours Sunday inside a building in the Del Rey neighborhood of West Los Angeles, police said.
The standoff began around 10:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of Marionwood Drive, near Allin Street, said Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect was taken into custody Sunday evening without incident, according to Rayner.
The address is in the Mar Vista Gardens, a housing project owned by the City of Los Angeles just west of Culver City.
