CSU System To Offer Digital Textbook Rentals
LONG BEACH (CBS) — California State University students will soon be able to rent textbooks at steep discounts thanks to a new deal announced by the school system.
Under the program, students will have the option of renting eTextbooks at a discount of nearly 60 percent or purchasing the printed versions as in years past.
More than 5,000 eBooks will be available for professors or instructors.
The program is expected to take effect next fall.
CSU is one of the largest university systems in the nation with 427,000 students and 43,000 faculty and staff at 23 campuses.
