CARSON (CBS) — A woman was severely beaten and another slashed on her wrist in a 2 a.m. brawl outside a Carson bar involving a dozen women, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s lieutenant said.
The fight occurred outside El Tenampa at 21312 S. Alameda St., the lieutenant, who identified himself only as A. Escamillas.
“They had a big function going on with a lot of females, and there was a big female-to-female fight,” he said. “As a result of that fight, one female got beaten to the point where she had to be transported to the hospital.”
The hospitalized woman had bruises on her face and body. Another combatant had her wrist slashed, he said.
No arrests were made, Escamillas said.
No word on what set off the melee.
