Robbers Still At Large After Smash-And-Grab At Montclair Jewelry Store

MONTCLAIR (CBS) — New security video shows a daring smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store at the Montclair Plaza.

Four masked men stormed the Ben Bridge Jewelers store close to closing time, two of them armed with guns. The robbers smashed glass cases and stole 25 to 30 Rolex watches.

Police say the robbers went back into the mall and disappeared.

The mall was locked down at 9 p.m., closing time, so police could look at everyone leaving the mall.

The lockdown ended just before 1 a.m.

The robbers are still at large.
