Lorna Valle, 32, was initially charged with murder in the death of her 1-year-old daughter, Lindsay Taque, and attempted murder of 5-year-old Marian. She is also charged with two felony counts of assault on a child causing death.

Authorities say Valle drowned her two daughters in the bathtub of her South LA home on Feb 15.

Lindsay was pronounced dead at a local hospital that same day. Marian was transported to Children's Hospital where she was declared dead Wednesday after her father, Jose Taque, removed her from life support after her organs were donated.

Valle is being held without bail.

Her arraignment, scheduled for Friday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court, was continued to March 13.

Neighbors say Valle was suicidal in the weeks leading up to the alleged drowning.
