Tiger Woods Misses 5-Foot Birdie To Fall In Match Play
MARANA, Ariz (CBS) -- Tiger Woods missed a 5-foot birdie putt to give Nick Watney a 1-up victory in the second round of the Match Play Championships in Southern Arizona.
"I didn't miss a single shot coming in, which is good. And that was fun, to hit the ball that well," Woods told the Associated Press. "Unfortunately, I just didn't make a putt when I needed it."
Woods' five-foot putt didn't even touch the cup.
Woods is scheduled to play at the Honda Classic in Florida on March 1st.
