Dodgers Claim Orioles' Matt Angle Off Waivers
GLENDALE, Ariz. (CBS) - The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed outfielder Matt Angle off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday.
The Dodgers had a spot available on their 40-man roster, with Ruby De La Rosa still on the disabled after undergoing Tommy John surgery last season. De La Rosa told MLB.com that his elbow feels great and expects to ready by mid-season.
Angle spent most of the last season at Triple-A, Norfolk, and hit .177 in 31 games for the Orioles.
