Riverside Police Shoot, Kill Assault Suspect
RIVERSIDE (AP) — Riverside police say officers shot and killed a suspect wanted on a warrant for felony assault who pulled a gun during a foot chase.

Police Sgt. Dan Russell said in a statement that the officers were looking for 38-year-old fugitive Danny James Bond on Saturday when he came out of a house and got on a bicycle.
Russell says that when police tried to stop him, Bond got off the bike and ran.
The statement says when he was blocked by other officers, Bond pulled a gun and police shot him.
Firefighters and paramedics declared Bond dead at the scene.
Police did not say how many officers fired, or how many shots were fired.
