Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (February 16)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The low pressure center that gave us stormy weather Wednesday has moved to the southeast.

Storm totals were higher to the east, where some cities saw .25" to .5" of rain. There was a little bit of everything in Wednesday's storm: hail, graupel, funnel clouds over the water, and low snow levels.

In the storm's wake, we are still dealing with some gusty winds across the district. Look for some damaging winds through the lunch hour.

There is still some residual moisture for the mountains left over, so a winter storm warning is still in effect in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

For the rest of the area, look for mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures, with some more warming Friday.

Another trough is going to set up along the western half of the nation over the weekend. This will again cool us off and kick up more marine layer.

We will also deal with some gusty winds again. Temperatures will stay cool through the weekend. However, by Tuesday next week, a big ridge of high pressure builds in and we will have much warmer temperatures.
