6 Students Injured When School Bus Collides With Pickup Truck

FULLERTON (CBS) — Six developmentally disabled students were hurt Thursday when their school bus collided with a pickup truck, according to police.

The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. as the school bus was making a left turn onto west Dorothy Lane from State College Boulevard, and collided with a truck that was heading south on State College.

Several of the students suffered minor injuries and one was moderately hurt.

Neither driver was injured.

The students, who were taken to the hospital, were between 16-22 years old, Goodrich said.
