Woman In Grave Condition After Being Struck By Car In Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS (CBS)  — A female pedestrian is in "grave" condition after being struck by a car while crossing Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, police said.

The accident at or near Robertson Boulevard occurred about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, said Beverly Hills police Sgt. Don Chase.

Chase said paramedics rushed the woman to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was listed in grave condition.

"There is no unusual circumstances surrounding the collision," Chase said.

The driver who struck the woman was not cited, Chase said. Police withheld the victim's name. She was believed to be in her 30s. It was unclear if she was on life-support machines.
