Records Fall As Long Beach St. Tops UC Davis 89-69

DAVIS, Calif. (AP) T.J. Robinson and Casper Ware had record-setting nights as Long Beach State defeated UC Davis 89-69 Saturday.

Robinson had 11 rebounds to become the Big West Conference career leader with 1,119. He passed Cal State Fullerton's Tony Neal, who set the record with 1,115 from 1981-85. Robinson also had 14 points Saturday.

Ware broke the all-time assists record at Long Beach State, passing Billy Walker (1984-88). Ware entered the game tied with Walker with 507 career assists, and finished with 16 points and two assists against UC Davis.

Eugene Phelps added 23 points and nine rebounds for the 49ers (19-6, 12-0 Big West), who won their 12th straight game and stretched their conference winning streak to 20 games dating back to last season. Larry Anderson added 15 points.

Josh Ritchart scored 24 points for UC Davis (2-22, 1-11), which was coming off a 79-71 victory over Cal State Northridge on Thursday that snapped an 18-game losing streak.
