Convicted Madonna Stalker Nabbed Near Mental Hospital In Norwalk

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man convicted of stalking Madonna has been captured not far from the mental hospital where he escaped.

Police say Robert Dewey Hoskins was detained near Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk about 9 a.m. Friday.

The 54-year-old walked out of the institution on Feb. 3.

Hoskins has previously been convicted of stalking the pop star and threatening to kill her with a knife.
