Actress Tippi Hedren Fights To Save Exotic Cats

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Actress Tippi Hedren visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to talk about her work to save exotic cats through the Shambala Preserve in Acton.

Currently the Shambala Preserve is home to over 80 exotic felines rescued from abusive situations and brought to the facility to live out their lives.

Tippi Hedren (Best know for her roles in Hitchcocks The Birds & Marnie) has not only had an extremely active acting career, but one as a political lobbyist as well. Her latest Bill is being presented to Congress ("Federal Ban on the Breeding of Big Cats Act"), to amend the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 to prohibit breeding of exotic big cat species, and for other purposes.
