VAN NUYS (CBS) — Authorities Sunday continued to search for the killer of a homeless man in the San Fernando Valley.
The body was found along the Tujunga Wash in the Valley Glen area near the corner of Victory Boulevard and Ethel Avenue.
The discovery was made just after 7 p.m. Saturday.
LAPD homicide detectives searched the scene for clues.
They tell CBS2 that the victim was apparently stabbed to death and that investigators reportedly recovered a couple of weapons.
Although the victim’s identity has not been released, police did say that he appears to be a Hispanic male between the age of 25 to 30.
In a statement released Sunday, Los Angeles police are urging the public to exercise caution while traveling along the Tujunga wash.
