VAN NUYS (CBS) — Homicide detectives from the Van Nuys division are investigating the stabbing death of a male transient Saturday evening in the San Fernando Valley.

Authorities were called to the scene at Victory and Ethel in Valley Glen just after 7 p.m. Saturday..

All detectives would say was this death was definitely not a suicide.

Officials say the body was discovered by another homeless person.

Investigators reportedly found several weapons in the area.
