Long Beach Police On The Hunt For Armed Robbery Suspect

LONG BEACH (CBS) — Long Beach police are on the hunt for an armed man they say has committed at least three robberies since Thursday evening.

The man enters a business and demands cash while showing a handgun, according to police. They said the suspect has fled on a bicycle and appears to be acting alone.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male, between 20-30 years of age. He has light brown of dirty blond hair. He is also 5 feet 10 inches - 6 feet three inches tall with an athletic build.

Police believe he first struck at 10:34 p.m. at a convenience store in the 200 block of Orange Avenue on Thursday.

They say he struck again about a half hour later at a restaurant in the 3100 block of Broadway and the following morning, around 9:30 a.m., at another restaurant in the 400 block of Obispo Avenue.
