EAGLE ROCK (CBS) — A street in Eagle Rock was flooded Saturday after a six-inch pipe burst, according to officials.
The pipe break occurred about 2 p.m. in the 2300 block of West Norwalk Avenue, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The break affected about thirty customers, according to DWP spokeswoman Kim Hughes.
“We have shut off the water and our crews are working on repairs right now,” said Hughes.
No structures or injuries were report, according to Scott.
Some pavement damage was reported.
As of 5 p.m., the thirty customers were waiting for service to be restored.
Hughes told KCAL9 and CBS2′s assignment desk that service is expected to be restored before 10 p.m.
