Watts Man, 71, Fatally Struck By 2 Cars In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBS) — A 71-year-old Watts man was struck and killed by two cars in Inglewood Thursday night.

Ruben Crummie was struck just before 7:15 p.m. as he exited his stalled truck to get gas near Crenshaw Boulevard and Hardy Street.

Inglewood police say the driver of the first car that hit him stopped, but the second driver fled the scene.

Authorities are hoping witnesses who saw the crashes will provide them with information about the second driver.

Crummie had been helping a friend move her bed at the time.

No arrests have been made.
