Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 31)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The on-shore flow that began developing late yesterday continues Tuesday with some more cloud cover over head.

The Southland will see temperatures down just a couple of degrees with the thicker cloud cover and cool air. Expect highs to reach into the 60s Tuesday.

There is another wave of energy that will move through on Wednesday and that will keep us cool through the mid-week. There is even the potential for Wednesday's short wave to bring moisture to the Central Coast of California. Los Angeles will remain dry.

Once that system moves through, expect temperatures to warm back to the 70s for Thursday and Friday. The weekend will cool down a bit, but temperatures will still be at or above average.

Beaches - low 60s
Basin - mid 60s
Valleys - upper 60s
Deserts - mid 60s
Mountains - upper 40s
