Woman, 38, Found Dead Inside Burning Home
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 38-year-old woman was found dead inside the bedroom of a burning house in the South Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles Saturday.
Crews found the women 10 minutes after arriving to the home at 2637 South Garth Avenue, Erik Scott of the L.A. City Fire Department said.
The victim was discovered in a bedroom at the back of the house after rescue crews used gas-powered rotary saws to break into the residence.
Authorities have not released further details.
