LITTLEROCK (CBS) — A motorist in Littlerock was killed Saturday morning when he flew out of his pick-up truck as it flipped over and landed on him in a desert wash east of Palmdale, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was on the Avenue R alignment in the Little Rock Wash, just west of 90th Street East. It was reported to the CHP at 8:01 a.m., said CHP Officer Ed Jacobs.
The motorist was the only person inside the vehicle and died at the scene, Jacobs said.
His name was held pending notification of his next of kin, said Coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz.
