(CBS ) — CBS2 has learned that Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt believes he might fetch $2 billion for the franchise.

Approximately 12 groups submitted bids by Monday’s deadline, with our sources telling us that it appears Mark Cuban and Dennis Gilbert will not advance to the next round of bidding.

Our sources say Steve Cohen, Rick Caruso/Joe Torre, Magic Johnson/Steve Kasten, Mark Utay/Leo Hindery, Stan Kroenke and Peter O’Malley are in the next round.
