(KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) — On Friday, Jan. 27 KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO will shine its community spotlight on Hollywood when “KNX on Your Corner” focuses on the world-wide appeal, rich history and revitalization of ‘Tinseltown.’

Features and news stories dedicated to Hollywood will be part of a full day of primetime programming which will include 10 hours of live broadcasts. Civic and business leaders, along with colorful personalities connected to Hollywood will be special guests.

News anchors Dick Helton and Vicky Moore will kick off the live broadcast from 5:00 – 9:00am at the W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard in the Hollywood Entertainment District.

At 1:00pm, the scene shifts to the Sunset & Vine Business Improvement District’s Arclight Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard when Frank Mottek hosts the KNX Business Hour from 1 – 2:00pm and Diane Thompson and Chris Sedens anchor KNX’s news coverage from 2 – 7:00pm.

“KNX on Your Corner” takes an in-depth look at Southern California’s diverse communities throughout the year and is presented by The Monitoring Center.
