Report: Demi Moore Suffered Seizure Earlier This Week

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Actress Demi Moore suffered a seizure before she was rushed to a hospital Monday night, according to Radar Online.

Moore's rep confirms the 49-year-old actress is seeking professional help to deal with exhaustion, but Radar Online reports the star is actually being treated for anorexia, as well as substance abuse issues.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends," Moore's rep said Tuesday.

Several photos of a gaunt-looking Moore have surfaced online since she announced plans to end her six-year marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher, who has been spotted partying in Brazil this week.

Moore, who starred in films such as "Ghost," "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Indecent Proposal", has been married to the "Two and a Half Men" star since 2005.

Although the couple have separated, they have not officially filed for divorce.

Moore has also dropped out of the upcoming film "Lovelace", in which she was set to play feminist author Gloria Steinem.
