Man Hospitalized In Grave Condition After Downey Shooting
DOWNEY (CBS) — Downey police are looking for three suspects after a man was shot in the head late Monday night.
The victim remains hospitalized in grave condition after he was shot following a home invasion robbery at apartment complex on Elm Vista Drive just before midnight.
Three armed men reportedly knocked down the front door of the apartment while a family of six was home.
Investigators say a fight ensued resulting in one man being shot in the head in the complex's yard.
The suspects fled the scene in a small white car, officials said.
Authorities have not released a description of the suspects and are trying to determine if they had any relationship to the family.
