Thanks to those who joined us for Media and Family Day, December 8, at the CBS2/KCAL9 Broadcast Center, especially campaign sponsors: The Mattel Toy Store; Walgreens; K-EARTH; KNX1070; The Wave; JACK FM; El Tepeyac; Red Robin; M's Florist; metroPCS; Schaefer Ambulance; BULL Outdoor Products; Cardenas Markets; Citizens Business Bank; John Force Race Station; Waste Management; KRLA; TIP Network; The Little GYM. As well as, community choirs from LA Urban League, LA Music & Art School, LAUP, View Park Prep High School, Hollywood High School. Santa Claus, Red Bird and Chipper joined in on the fun, too! Your talent and festive greetings warmed the hearts of our viewers and donors who responded overwhelmingly with their increased donations for CHIPS for KIDS.

Individually, you have all made a difference, but together we have made a huge impact in bringing Christmas to many of our Southland children, who otherwise might not have enjoyed any gift during the Holiday Season.

Preliminary figures indicate an increase from last year's figures, and we are thrilled to report that 49,000 toys were distributed to children within Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and Orange County; an amazing number. Congratulations!

Sincerely,

CHP Chief, Steven Beeuwsaert
