Driver Rams Vehicle Into Social Services Building In Orange, Throws Vials Of Unknown Substance

ORANGE (CBS)  — A driver rammed his vehicle into a social services building in Orange Monday night before throwing vials of an unknown substance.

The car crashed into the building located at 840 N. Eckhoff Street around 8:30 p.m., causing the fire alarm to go off.

The driver reportedly exited the vehicle and threw two vials of an unknown substance in the vicinity of a children's services area.

Hazardous materials crews and a bomb squad reported to the scene and an investigation was ongoing.

The substance was confirmed to be nonhazardous.

No injuries were reported.
