Detectives Probing Dismembered Murder Victim's Relationships With Boyfriend, Ex-Wife

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — The search for the suspect who murdered and dismembered a Hollywood man continues Monday.

Former Mexicana Airlines employee Harvey Medellin's severed head, hands and feet were discovered last week in Bronson Canyon Park.

The rest of the 66-year-old's remains have not been found.

On Saturday, Los Angeles police detectives searched Medellin's third floor apartment at 6238 DeLongpre Avenue where he lived with his boyfriend and dog.

Police would not disclose what evidence was collected although several large bags could be seen being removed from the location.

Investigators say they are now looking into Medellin's current relationship with his boyfriend and a past marriage to a woman.

"It's crazy, it's creepy . . . just to think I'm living under a guy that got murdered," said neighbor Nicholas Hadgiantonas.

No arrests have been made in the case and authorities have not named a person of interest.
