Update (As Of 12:15 p.m.): Police report that Jose Barcelo is back home Saturday after being located in Huntington Park.

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 78-year-old man who was last seen about 8 p.m. Friday.

The missing man, identified by authorities as Jose Barcelo, apparently walked away from his home in the 400 block of South Orange Drive in Los Angeles, according to police.

In a news release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department, authorities say Barcelo recently suffered a stroke and requires medical attention. He was last seen in a brown bathrobe.

Barcelo, a Hispanic male, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. According to police, a scar from a previous operation can be seen on his head.
