Susan G. Komen Pink Pop-Up Store Offers Free Mammograms

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A new store unlike any other in the country has opened at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall.

Pink, a pop-up store sponsored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure , offers free mammograms and other health services. Shoppers at the all pink boutique can also purchase items to help raise money for breast cancer awareness.

The shop served as the backdrop Thursday for the Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County Race for the Cure kickoff.

Proceeds from the annual 5k fundraising event support services for women in need in the Los Angeles community.

This year's run/walk takes place Saturday March 24 at Dodgers Stadium.
