PASADENA (CBS) — Police have arrested six teenage girls believed to responsible for vandalizing a San Gabriel Valley high school over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.

When school officials returned to the campus of Marshall Fundamental High School Tuesday morning, they discovered "extensive graffiti left on every campus building," the Pasadena Sun reports.

Police say the suspects spray painted lewd and offensive remarks. Damage is estimated to be between $4,000 to $5,000, the Sun reports.
