SAN PEDRO (CBS) — Voters in the 15th Council District, which covers the area between San Pedro and Watts, are heading to the polls Tuesday to choose between LAPD officer Joe Buscaino and Assemblyman Warren Furutani.

One of the candidates will fill the seat vacated by former Los Angeles councilwoman Janice Hahn, who is now a U.S. congresswoman.

Polls will close at 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
