BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (CBS) – Gina Carano makes her acting debut as the lead in a major motion picture, starring in ‘Haywire’ opening this Friday nationwide. We’ll preview the movie this weekend on Sports Central on KCAL-9.

Academy Award winning director Steven Soderbergh had actually seen a couple of Gina’s MMA fights, and the interviews for them, and thought she’d be perfect for his first foray into action movies.

When I sat down with her last week, we talked about the highest and lowest moment of her time in the cage, and the fact that the only fight she ever lost was to “Cyborg,” who recently tested positively for steroids.
