Woman, 30, Apparently Falls From Dock, Drowns In Huntington Harbor

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBS) — A 30-year-old woman found dead in the Hungtington Harbor Tuesday afternoon apparently fell from a dock and drowned, police reported.

Emergency responders arrived shortly before 4 p.m. after receiving a report of a body floating in the water by the docks west of Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue.

Rescue workers were able to revive the woman and transported her to a hospital. She was pronounced dead a short time after arrival, according to Huntington Beach police Capt. Russell Reinhart.

Her identity was withheld pending notification of her relatives.

"From what we can tell it appears she fell or slipped into the water from the dock," Reinhart said.
