LYNWOOD (CBS) — A man was shot in Lynwood Sunday evening, and he is not expected to survive, a sheriff’s deputy said.
The shooting was reported at 6:58 p.m. in the 11800 block of Atlantic Avenue, Deputy Mark Pope of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau said.
The man was taken to a hospital where his condition was listed at “death imminent,” Pope said.
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
