Man Dies In Fiery Crash On The 5 Freeway
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO (CBS) — A man driving a pick-up truck died in a fiery crash on the San Diego (5) Freeway in San Juan Capistrano, authorities said Sunday.
The crash was on the northbound freeway at the San Joaquin Hills (73) Tollway split, and it occurred about 2 a.m. Saturday, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
According the Coroner's Office, the motorist hit a fixed object on the freeway.
His name will be released pending notification of next of kin.
