Car Stolen From Norwalk Parking Lot With Woman's Ashes Inside
NORWALK (CBS) — A woman is pleading for the return of her car after it was stolen Thursday with her mother's cremated remains inside.
The foam green 2005 Ford Taurus with Oregon license plate 717CQL was stolen just after 6 p.m. Thursday from a Stater Bros. parking lot, 12800 S. La Mirada Boulevard, in Norwalk, sheriff's officials said.
In the backseat of the car were the cremated remains of the victim's mother in a white box, deputies said.
