ROSEMEAD (CBS) — One person was critically injured Monday in a multi-vehicle accident, involving two big rig trucks, on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Rosemead.
The crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. west of Rosemead Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Connelly.
One person was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
All westbound lanes were closed briefly as crews worked to clean up some diesel fuel that spilled onto the right freeway shoulder.
Some lanes reopened within 45 minutes, according to CHP officials.
